Two amazing shoots in one day.

I really cut it close with this final this semester. It's what I get for not shooting more portraits throughout and waiting till the last minute to get everything done. Oh well c'est la vie. I shot Josh first and we went to the music building since he is a music major and I did an environmental portrait of him in the lobby. He has these beautiful eyes that I was really excited to bring out and even though he said he felt like he was doing a horrible job he really nailed it! After that I went straight into a shoot with Kaitlin and ran a little late because of it but she wasn't mad. Her shoot was really the most excited I've been for a shoot in a long ass time. I had this incredible James Dean/The Outsiders inspiration and made her into a female greaser. It was spectacular! I actually had to add the smoke for her cigarette in post but I shot the smoke myself. Funny story is I actually had to be forced to even do the smoke! I wanted to just get rid of the little bit of smoke that was there and be done with it because I was so tired and ready to just be done with my final but Collier, Haley, and Paul convinced me to shoot my own smoke and then composite the two together in post. And I hate to say it but I was so wrong and everyone else was oh so right. It really made the picture absolutely perfect. So now all I have to do is finish printing and then do my alternative final and I am done for the semester!!!
